FOX Driver Training | Automatic Driving Lessons In Sheffield
Hi, I’m Stuart from FOX Driver Training. I am a Grade A-rated, Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor offering high-quality automatic driving lessons in a modern tuition vehicle.
FOX Driver Training has been providing driving lessons in Sheffield and the surrounding area for over 19 years and during that time I have gained extensive experience in helping people of all ages and backgrounds to pass their driving test and become safe, confident drivers.
My job is a simple one, to teach you to drive in a safe, calm and professional environment and to tailor my teaching techniques to best suit your needs and build your confidence. Yes, learning to drive can seem a little daunting, and at times it can even be quite challenging, but don’t worry, it can be lots of fun too.
I am a Pass Plus registered driving instructor and hold a current, enhanced CRB check certificate. Lessons are conducted in a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, fitted with dual-controls, that is advertising and livery free.
“Super calm, super easy to get along with and I passed first time! The car was really nice and easy to drive too.”
Sam J, S6

It's normal to feel nervous
It really is completely normal to feel a little nervous when you start learning to drive. After all, for most it is quite a leap into the unknown. But rest assured, I will do all that I can to create a pleasant and relaxed learning environment to ease those ‘new-driver’ nerves. I also have experience in helping pupils with specific anxiety and stress related issues to get behind the wheel for the first time. So if your shoes are worn out from walking but you still can’t quite bring yourself to make the call, then try not to worry — it’s my job to make sure you feel comfortable during your lesson, and to keep you safe while you’re on the road.

Why learn in an automatic
Old cars are great, but times are changing..… and the future is automatic. Did you know that all hybrid and fully electric cars are automatic? Or that the UK government recently brought forward the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars to 2030? On the practical side, the vast majority of people who learn to drive in an automatic pass their test having taken significantly fewer lessons than those who learn in a manual — which makes it both quicker and cheaper. With an automatic there’s no searching for the biting point, no stalling or rolling backwards, no endless gear changes in busy traffic. Sound good? To find out more, click here.
